Medical Director

A hospice medical director is a physician who oversees the medical care provided to hospice patients. They are responsible for ensuring quality care is being provided and that patients receive the appropriate care and treatment, which includes reviewing patient care plans and working with the hospice team to develop a comprehensive plan that addresses the patient's medical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

CNA
(Certified Nurses Aide)

A hospice CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) plays a vital role in day-to-day care for patients nearing the end of their lives. CNA’s duties include and are not limited to.

Personal Care: bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting, changing linens, assisting with incontinence care, and providing skin care to prevent bedsores. They assist patients with moving around, transferring between the bed and chairs, and maintaining mobility as much as possible. Assisting with eating and drinking: CNAs help patients with feeding and ensure they receive adequate nutrition and hydration. Moreover, our CNA's are also there to provide the patient and their loved ones with emotional support during their visits.

Registered Nurse

A hospice nurse is a registered nurse (RN) who provides care to patients in the final stages of a terminal illness. The focus of hospice care is on comfort and quality of life, rather than curative treatments.
Here are some of the key responsibilities of a hospice nurse:
